We are now a registered charity, no. 1196328. We are still in the process of settin gup new systems but will update this site accordingly soon.

Martha House is a house of hospitality for asylum seekers, refugees and other forced migrants who have become destitute and have no other accommodation options. We provide a safe and welcoming home and try to live as a community, sharing meals and making connections in the local area. Once a week we have an open house meal where neighbours, guests, ex-guests and other friends can share food and time together. On a Friday we run a community gardening project at the local Quaker meeting house, called the Mulberry Tree Community Garden.
